I've been wanting to do a really fresh Fall Sunday morning Jazz mix filled with crazy horns, breaks, samples and other Jazzy goodness for a while now. Since it's my birthday weekend I figured that I would wake up extra early while the morning birds were still chirping and before the rush hour traffic started clogging up the morning nature sounds. Here's is the live Hot Peas and Butta mix from Minneapolis. MPLS is really a party town as you can tell by the various genres that we were dropping, everything from Funk, Soul, R&B, Hip Hop, Classics and more were thrown in the mix.
